Trinidad

On my way to Venezuela

7 in the morning by the sea in Chaguaramas outside Port of Spain. Wednesday. The ferry to Venezuela leaves from here at 9 and I finally have the ticket in my hands. Yesterday I was here trying to buy it, the lady wouldn’t sell it unless I could present a ticket going out of Venezuela. No one way!

But… But… I had not decided that yet… Back in Port of Spain I got to the Internet, checked prices and decided to buy a ticket to Miami in 2½ week. Don’t know if I will travel more in the US – maybe – but it’s also the cheapest way to get to Europe or the Middle East. Whish will probably be next.

Anyway. The ticket-lady is happy now. I have checked in my luggage (along with maybe 20 other passengers (small boat) and shortly wee will take off.

Venezuela Ticket

Next stop: Trinidad and Tobago

The people have spoken. I need to continue my journey in South America !!! I have been given many great suggestions of where excatly I should go. Gorm pointed in the direction of Venezuela and that sounded right.

So now I have booked my next flight ticket. I will go to Trinidad and Tobago – the southern Carribian Islands just outside of Venezuela (see on map). I saw some beach pictures and the ticket there was cheap, so I thought… Aaaaaahhh… Yes!

I will find a way getting to Venezuela just after the islands. But what to do? I need all the help and suggestions I can get. I plan to go and buy a Lonely Planet or something, but if you can guide me in any way, I will be gratefull.

Take care 🙂 // Peter
